The process of coming out and identifying as LGBTQ is a difficult and vulnerable situation that can present a variety of problems to adolescents trying to understand their own sexuality. In many cases it can be difficult for those who identify as heterosexual to understand the challenges that are implicit in this act. However everyone has secrets that they keep to themselves, and in this lesson that fact is used to help the students understand the difficulty that someone coming out can face when exposing themselves to the world.
